In an exciting revelation for fans of the Jurassic Park franchise, David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 Jurassic Park film and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth, has confirmed the inclusion of a long-awaited scene from Michael Crichton's original novel. Speaking with Variety, Koepp shared that he revisited Crichton's novels to reconnect with the essence of the series, as there is no new source material for Jurassic World Rebirth.
Koepp admitted to drawing inspiration from the novels, specifically mentioning a sequence from the first book that was originally omitted from the 1993 film due to time constraints. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," he explained. "We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
While Koepp kept the details of this sequence under wraps, the news has sparked a wave of speculation among fans eager to identify which scene will finally make its cinematic debut. This has led to numerous theories about which scenes from the novel might be featured in Jurassic World Rebirth.
