In an exciting update for Tekken 8 fans, Bandai Namco has released a captivating trailer for Anna Williams as part of Season 2. The trailer not only showcases her dynamic moveset but also introduces new personal skins and a striking intro, including a unique cutscene that plays when she faces her sister, Nina Williams. As the first character of the new season, Anna will be available to Character Year 2 Pass owners starting March 31, with general access opening up for all players on April 3.
The trailer also offers a sneak peek at the exciting content planned for Tekken 8 throughout 2025 and into early 2026. Fans can look forward to a new fighter and arena in Summer 2025, another fighter in Fall 2025, and yet another fighter alongside a new arena in Winter 2025/2026. This roadmap promises to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging for the community.
Bandai Namco also shared impressive sales figures, announcing that Tekken 8 has surpassed 3 million copies sold. This sales pace significantly outstrips that of its predecessor, which has achieved over 12 million copies sold to date. Released on January 26, 2024, Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, continuing to draw in players and cement its place in the fighting game community.
