What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?

"Haikyu!!" is an animated series based on the youth sports manga by Haruichi Furudate, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. The story is set in the world of high school volleyball and follows the journey of Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "Fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they strive to reclaim their glory at the "top."

The narrative centers around Shoyo Hinata, a passionate volleyball enthusiast, and a cast of unique characters, weaving a compelling tale of determination and teamwork. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical version, continuing the anime's story, would be produced.
