Application Description

BASE is an educational app that uses the appeal of football to drive learning in schools.

BASE serves as a supportive partner for teachers. Designed to enhance daily classroom activities, it introduces a dynamic twist to lessons, with the goal of helping children master curricular content through play. In its initial release, the game is structured into three seasons, similar to sports tournaments. Each season features four competitive tiers: Regional, National, Continental, and World, plus a Pre-Season phase. Tournaments consist of varying numbers and difficulties of questions, referred to as matches. With gamified elements like coins, points, and trophies, the app is engineered to capture and sustain student engagement.

The educational content for BASE was created by the team at the Vini.Jr Institute, in collaboration with teachers from the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. Initially, BASE's educational technology will target the early years of Elementary School (1st to 5th grade), benefiting children aged 6 to 10. It leverages the power of sports to attract interest and the efficiency of technology to facilitate learning. All question content is aligned with Brazil's National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) standards.
