Application Description

Keep score for the popular card game Chinese Pooping.

Boerenbridge, also known as Chinese Pooping in Flanders, is a classic card game.

The goal is to predict how many tricks you can take each round. Each round starts with players receiving a set number of cards. Beginning with the player to the dealer's left, everyone states how many tricks they expect to win. The highest bidder chooses the trump suit.

The final player to bid (the dealer) cannot bid a number that would make the total equal the number of cards in play. For example, in a 7-card round: if Player 1 bids 0, Player 2 bids 3, and Player 3 bids 2, then Player 4 (the dealer) cannot bid 2, because 0 + 3 + 2 + 2 = 7.

The first round deals one card to each player. The second round deals two cards, the third round three, and so on. This continues until the maximum number of cards per player is reached (e.g., 10 cards each with five players). After the peak round, the number of cards decreases each round until players are back to one card. The player with the most points after the final round wins.
