Frantics

To play Frantics™ on PlayStation®4, you will need the Frantics™ Companion App. Here's everything you need to know about using the app and recent updates regarding its availability:

Companion App Usage

The Frantics™ Companion App transforms your smartphone or tablet into a controller for the game. You can engage in a variety of quirky mini-games, from arena brawls to wacky races, with up to four players. The app allows you to:

• Choose and Randomize Your Animal: Shake your device to select your in-game avatar.
• Take Selfies: Identify yourself in the game by snapping a selfie.
• Sabotage or Play Nice: Use your device to either help or hinder other players during mini-games.
• Receive Secret Missions: Get texts and calls from the charmingly unfair fox host to gain an edge.

To start playing, ensure your PS4™ console and your device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Follow the in-app instructions to connect and dive into the fun.

Language Support

The Frantics™ Companion App supports multiple languages including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Mexican Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Important Update for Android Users (as of December 14, 2023)

If you're using an Android device, note the following:

• Existing Users: If you have already downloaded the Frantics™ Companion App or it's in your library, you can continue to play the game with it.
• New Downloads: The app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11.

Apple iOS Users

iOS users can continue to download and use the Frantics™ Companion App regardless of their iOS version.

What's New in Version 1.8

The latest update, released on May 4, 2021, includes bug fixes to enhance your gaming experience.
