With the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:

• View your current glucose reading, along with trend arrows that show if your glucose is rising or falling;
• Access historical data and detailed reports such as Time in Target Range and Daily Profiles to better understand your glucose patterns;
• Share your glucose data securely with your healthcare provider or family members via LibreView.com [3];
• If using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors, receive customizable alerts directly on your phone when your glucose levels go too high or too low [2].

USING THE APP AND SAME SENSOR SCANNER

It’s important to note that signals from the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor can be sent either to your smartphone via the FreeStyle LibreLink app or to the dedicated FreeStyle Libre 2 scanner—but not both at the same time. To ensure your phone receives real-time glucose alerts, you must activate the sensor through the app. Conversely, if you activate the sensor using the scanner, it will send alerts to the scanner instead. However, even if activated via the scanner, the sensor can still be scanned using your phone.

Please be aware that the FreeStyle LibreLink app and the scanner do not sync or communicate with each other automatically. For complete data coverage, scan the sensor with each device at least every 8 hours. Failure to do so may result in incomplete data in your reports. All your glucose data can be viewed and analyzed in full at LibreView.com, where you can download reports from all connected devices.
