With the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:

• Receive timely low or high glucose alarms directly on your phone when using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors [2]

Using the App and Reader with the Same Sensor

It’s important to understand that alarm functionality is exclusive to either the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your mobile device—never both simultaneously. If you wish to receive alarms on your phone, activate the sensor through the FreeStyle LibreLink app. Conversely, if you prefer alarms on the reader, start the sensor using the reader itself. Once activated, you can still scan the sensor with your phone for additional readings.

However, please be aware that the app and the reader do not sync or share data. To ensure comprehensive reporting, it's recommended to scan the sensor with each device at least every 8 hours. All data from multiple devices can be consolidated and reviewed online via LibreView.com.
