Lawnchair Legacy is a mature and feature-complete version of Lawnchair, originally built upon Launcher3 from Android 9. This version is now in maintenance mode, meaning only essential updates related to the Play Store and security will be provided moving forward.

Please note that this release does not officially support Android 10 or later versions.

Lawnchair utilizes the AccessibilityService permission to enhance accessibility features for certain system functions, such as enabling desktop gestures to turn off the screen. If required by your device configuration, Lawnchair will prompt you to activate this service. However, in many scenarios, it is not necessary. No user data is collected via the AccessibilityService; its sole purpose is to trigger system-level actions.

Additionally, Lawnchair uses the Device Administrator permission to allow screen locking via specific gesture triggers. This feature is optional and disabled by default.
