Freedom Wars Remastered: Enhanced Gameplay and New Features Unveiled
A new trailer for Freedom Wars Remastered showcases its revamped gameplay and impressive additions. The action RPG, set in a dystopian world ravaged by resource depletion, features battles against colossal mechanical creatures known as Abductors. Players, cast as Sinners, undertake missions to reduce their sentences and contribute to their Panopticon, their respective city-state. Visually, the game receives a substantial upgrade, boasting 4K resolution (2160p) at 60 FPS on PS5 and PC, while PS4 offers 1080p at 60 FPS and the Switch version runs at 1080p, 30 FPS. Gameplay is faster-paced than the original, enhanced by improved mechanics, increased movement speed, and the ability to cancel weapon attacks.
Freedom Wars Remastered also features overhauled crafting and upgrade systems. These systems now include more intuitive interfaces and allow for the attachment and detachment of modules at will. A new module synthesis feature enables players to enhance modules using resources obtained from rescued citizens. Finally, a challenging new difficulty mode, "Deadly Sinner," caters to experienced players. All original customization DLC from the PS Vita version is included from launch.
