I don't often post deals on LG's Gallery Series OLED TVs because they tend to be quite pricey. However, today's offer, while not exactly budget-friendly, is one of the best deals I've seen for one of the finest TVs available. For a limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are offering the 83" LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, including free delivery. To put this into perspective, the 2024 model, the 83" LG G4, is currently listed at a staggering $5,300. The Gallery Series represents the pinnacle of LG's OLED TV lineup and is arguably the best in the OLED category.

The G3, launched in 2023, is one generation behind the latest model (no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it remains superior to any other TV in LG's lineup, including both OLED and non-OLED models, except for the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED outperforms the C-series. Both feature an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs, but the G-series takes it a step further with MLA (micro lens array) technology, which enhances brightness. This feature increases the TV's cost but elevates its image quality to match or surpass that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.

OLED TVs are widely regarded as the best TVs currently available. They offer superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and faster response times compared to traditional LED LCD TVs. These advantages make OLED TVs ideal for experiencing 4K HDR content in its full glory. LG's OLED TVs, having been on the market for years, benefit from numerous generations of enhancements.
