If you are aged 13 or over and registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man, you can start using the app right away. You can also access the same features through the NHS website on any computer, giving you flexibility in how you interact with the healthcare system.

With the NHS App, you can conveniently access your NHS services anytime, anywhere. Features include:

Manage Your Health

The app empowers you to take control of your health information by providing easy access to your GP health record, including test results. You can also manage upcoming appointments and prescription requests efficiently. Additionally, you can make personal health decisions within the app, such as updating your organ donation preferences.

Receive Important Messages

You can receive critical communications from your GP surgery and other NHS services directly through the app. Enabling notifications ensures you never miss an important update or message sent to you via the NHS App.

Manage Services for Others

If needed, you can switch profiles in the NHS App to manage healthcare services for family members or dependents—such as children or elderly relatives. Both parties must be registered at the same GP surgery, and your GP must grant you access before you can proceed.

Log In Securely

To ensure your data remains safe, the NHS App guides you through creating an [ttpp]NHS login[/ttpp] if you don’t already have one. As part of the verification process, you will need to confirm your identity. Once set up, the app securely connects to your NHS service data.
