Svara (Svarka) Game Rules

Svara (Svarka) is a card game played with a 32-card deck ranging from 7 to Ace. It requires a minimum of two players and offers 4,960 possible card combinations.

Game Rules

Players receive three cards dealt clockwise. Each combination holds specific point values, with the highest-scoring player winning.

Scoring follows these rules:

1) Cards 7 through 9 are worth their face value (7-9 points).

2) 10, Jack, Queen, and King cards count as 10 points.

3) Each Ace awards 11 points.

4) Cards of matching suits sum their values (e.g., Q♦ K♦ 10♠ = 20 points; 10♠ 8♠ K♥ = 18 points).

5) Aces combine regardless of suit (two Aces = 22 points, three = 33 points).

6) The 7♣ (called Ceco Jonchev/Chechak/Chotora/Shpoka/Yoncho) pairs with any card for 11 points.

8) Three 7s yield 34 points – the strongest combination.

9) Three-of-a-kind scores triple the card's value (three 8s = 24 points; three Queens = 30 points).

Betting Rules

1) Players place an ante before receiving cards;

2) The dealer's left may place an optional blind bet before viewing cards;

3) Subsequent players may double blind bets;

4) Skipping a blind bet prevents further blind bets;

(Blind bets are optional)

5) Players bet after receiving cards;

6) Blind bets must be at least doubled;

7) The blind better must match bets to see opponents' cards;

8) Unmatched blind bets win automatically;

9) Highest score wins;

10) No bets? Dealer wins;

11) Tied scores trigger SVARA;

12) SVARA continues all previous bets;

13) Players may join SVARA by paying the entry fee.
