Taiko-san Daijiro 3

This application enables you to enjoy playing tja files from the "Taiko-san Jiro 2" software on your PC.

Please note that the app comes with just one sample song. To fully utilize the app, you'll need to manually add your music data to your device's storage or SD card.

Without the score data, gameplay will not be possible.

Due to enhanced security features in Android, upgrading to Taiko Daijiro 2 means the default TJA folder located directly under the root folder is no longer accessible. As a result, this has been developed into a standalone application.

I extend my apologies to those who have left reviews; I haven't had the opportunity to read and respond to them all. If you have any requests, please send us an email, and we will certainly look into them.

We regret that, given the vast number of Android devices, we can't test the app on all of them. Consequently, we do not support devices on which the app fails to start.

For optimal performance, please clear background tasks using a task killer before launching the application.

We do not provide assistance on obtaining TJA files and skins. Please understand that we cannot respond to inquiries on this topic.

■How to Add Songs

Place your music files (tja) in the following folder:

/Android/data/com.daijiro.taiko3/files/TJA

(Note: The /TJA folder used in Taiko-san Daijiro 2 is inaccessible to regular apps due to security upgrades.)

If you're transitioning from Taiko-san Daijiro 2, use a file management app to copy or move your score files.

For downloads from the internet, save the zip file to the "Taiko-san Daijiro 3" folder.

Without a genre.ini file in your genre folder(s), songs will be categorized as "Uncategorized".

■How to Add Skins

This app supports skin data from "Taiko-san Jiro 2", though some skins may not be fully implemented yet.

Skins from "Taiko-san Jiro" that are not marked as version 2 are not supported.

Please be aware that, depending on your device and the skin data, performance may slow down.

■Contents of genre.ini (This file is essential for the folder to be recognized as a genre folder.)
