The Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) Systems offer advanced glucose tracking for people living with diabetes, providing real-time insights that support more informed treatment decisions. Designed for both adults and children aged 2 years and older, these systems deliver glucose readings every five minutes—without the need for fingersticks or calibration.\* This allows users to stay ahead of trends and understand where their glucose levels are heading at a glance.

A key benefit of the Dexcom G6 and G6 Pro is the ability to set customizable alerts directly on your smart device. These alarms notify you when glucose levels go beyond your target range, helping you take action before conditions worsen. With the Alert Schedule\*\* feature, users can create a second personalized alert schedule—ideal for adjusting sensitivity during different parts of the day such as work hours or sleep. Customizable sound options include Vibrate-Only mode, although certain critical alarms like the Urgent Low Alarm cannot be disabled for safety reasons.

The Always Sound\*\* function is enabled by default, ensuring that important glucose alerts will still play even if your phone is muted, in vibrate mode, or set to Do Not Disturb. This includes alarms for Urgent Low, Low and High Glucose, Urgent Low Soon, and rapid Rise and Fall Rates. A dedicated icon on your home screen lets you know whether your alerts are active. For added safety, four critical alarms—Urgent Low, Transmitter Failed, Sensor Failed, and App Stopped—cannot be silenced.
