In 2012, Maximus competed against former World Champion Alexander Schwarzman, resulting in a close defeat (five draws and one loss). More recently, Maximus achieved a third-place finish in the (unofficial) 2019 World Championship Computer Draughts competition, running on a desktop computer – a more powerful platform than mobile devices. Despite this, you'll find Maximus a formidable opponent on your tablet or smartphone!

Whether you're a novice or an expert, Maximus offers a range of difficulty levels. Begin with a mode to learn the rules, where Maximus makes random moves.
