Application Description

Leverage ELM327 to diagnose DTCs in Suzuki control modules

SZ Viewer A1, tailored for Suzuki vehicles, employs specific protocols (K-Line and CAN bus) alongside standard OBDII. It reads and clears DTC codes, including extended and historical ones, across numerous Suzuki control modules.

Japanese domestic market (JDM) Suzuki vehicles are supported, even without OBDII protocol compatibility.

Requires an ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi), version 1.3 or higher. Incompatible fake adapters (v2.1 or certain v1.5) lack necessary ELM327 command support.

The SDL protocol for pre-2000 models (5V levels, pin #9 of OBDII connector) is unsupported due to physical incompatibility with ELM327.

This tool enables viewing and resetting DTC errors in various modules: powertrain, engine, AT/CVT, ABS/ESP, SRS, AC/HVAC, BCM, PS, EMCD/4WD/AHL, TPMS, and more, though not all modules may be present in every vehicle.

An HVAC module may show B1504 or B150A DTC due to low sunload sensor illumination during diagnostics, not indicating a sensor fault.
