This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, observing a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided valuable insights into the community's most requested features for the game, detailing which ones will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will be able to utilize real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. While this feature was already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, Kjun emphasized the team's goal to further streamline the process of creating zois. Additionally, players will have the option to include their own pets in the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to wait a bit longer for this addition, which is especially meaningful as Kjun himself is a big animal lover.
The game will feature tall buildings, but they will be capped at 30 floors. This decision was made despite the game engine's capability to support higher constructions, primarily to address potential performance issues and ensure smooth gameplay. InZOI will also include gas stations and incorporate fights. Kjun acknowledged that the slap mechanic from early previews felt too shallow to players, so in response to feedback, the game will now feature full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, enhancing the depth of player interactions.
Lastly, InZOI will include a comprehensive tutorial, recognizing that many newcomers unfamiliar with the genre will be trying the game. This thoughtful addition is certainly commendable and reflects the developers' commitment to player experience. As of now, Krafton remains on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated.
