EA Motive and SEED will unveil their groundbreaking "Texture Sets" technology at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), showcasing its application in titles like Dead Space and the highly anticipated Iron Man game. This innovative approach combines related texture sets into a single resource, streamlining processing and enabling the creation of enhanced textures. EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, will lead the presentation, detailing the intricacies of this texture and graphics development process.

The GDC presentation offers a glimmer of hope for fans eagerly awaiting news on Iron Man. Announced in 2022, the game has remained shrouded in mystery, fueling speculation about its potential cancellation. However, EA Motive's participation in GDC confirms ongoing development, and there's a possibility of gameplay footage or significant new details being revealed during the demonstration of this new technology. The conference runs from March 17th to 21st, 2025.

Currently, Iron Man is confirmed as a single-player RPG featuring an open world and built using Unreal Engine 5. EA Motive is also expected to leverage its experience with Anthem's flight system in the development of Iron Man.
