This application visualizes the 3D orientation of your device using a dynamic 3D compass interface.

Designed to showcase the power of sensor fusion technology, this app combines data from the Gyroscope, Accelerometer, and Compass in various configurations. The resulting orientation is displayed as an interactive 3D compass that responds in real-time to physical device rotation.

A key innovation in this application lies in its implementation of virtual sensor fusion. The app introduces two unique sensor combinations: "Improved Orientation Sensor 1" and "Improved Orientation Sensor 2." Both utilize advanced fusion techniques that combine the Android Rotation Vector with the virtual Gyroscope sensor, delivering exceptional stability and precision in pose estimation—setting a new standard for mobile sensor performance.

In addition to these novel sensor fusions, users can explore and compare several built-in sensor configurations:

• Improved Orientation Sensor 1 – A hybrid fusion of Android Rotation Vector and Calibrated Gyroscope offering high accuracy with moderate stability
• Improved Orientation Sensor 2 – Optimized for enhanced stability at the expense of slight accuracy trade-offs
• Android Rotation Vector – A Kalman filter-based fusion of Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Compass
